My mom passed away and not being able to ask her about being pregnant with me and what she went through were very hard, I'm glad to be able to pass an entire journal of pregnancy, birth, newborn stage, etc and this book is the reason I thought to do that. Thank you for providing belly busting laughs, following tears, and real life pregnancy with this book. I will be purchasing the follow up also! More research can happen, but this at least shows you what you will want/need to research (rather than simply asking Google "What happens now?" The humor is perfect. The incorporation of different families and stories is perfect. There were some good points made and insights given. I scanned through and read the highlights of some chapters and all of other chapters. You could skip around pretty easily and not feel like you were missing anything by not reading “in order.” I found that the anecdotes varied across many different lifestyles and situations so it was varied information and not just from one kind of opinion or viewpoint.
