The price can't be beat considering you get all these pieces for a very low price. It's not fancy but it will get the job done and save you a lot of money. I don't even want to think how much I spent over the years stretching my ears to 2s (I had to take them out for the military and they closed back up to 10s over time.) Go with this to save money and when you've reached your desired size, then start worrying about the cool-looking gauges.But all 36 pieces of jewelry are stuffed into a rather small black box. The instructions were clear enough to understand. I didn't need the rings for the tapers so I'll keep a few in my purse in case one comes off the plug. This was my first time using tapers and plugs. It took awhile to do, mostly because I was afraid of tearing, but it worked, I probably used too much lube. It did hurt while sliding taper in but I paused a couple time to allow my lobe to get used to it....**update, woohoo. I'm on my 3rd stretch. Following the directions there is no pain, and slight sting that's it. No tears or bleeding. I've included my setup, I keep extra ?stoppers in my purse? The shot glass is to soak earlobes, it was easier and economical. The medium size I make sea salt solution to dip qtips in...and the larger dish with lid for the dirty pieces, with alcohol rub to sanitize. Oh, the first stretch was a bit painful, I had to restart one and the other is went too fast, ouchies, but now it's getting easier. It's a good bargain. Also, if you're one of those people who goes to Hot Topic or Spencer's and gets a 2-3 pack for $15, get this instead. You get an entire kit for less! Yes, you have to wait a couple business days, but it's worth it. I got mine a bit quicker than I expected. And when they arrived, they're way better than any acrylic tapers I've owned. I have pretty fat earlobes and when i put in tapers from Spencer's, they were way too short. I would wake up with my O-rings on the floor or next to my pillow. But, when I put these in, they're a good length, they stay in and conform to your ears. Of course with every set of acrylic tapers, these require the same amount of care and cleaning. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you are new to this, DO NOT clean these with hydrogen peroxide, it makes the taper brittle and snap easily. You'll lose a good taper.
