A: By "ring connector cables" I presume you mean the output cables from the transformer to the battery connector.  By eye I'd say they are 14 gauge.  Using a cable sizing app that would be correct for the 12v 2a output from these units.

**Q: What is the actual float voltage for LiFeP04 batteries?**
A: Float votage 31.2  to 13

A: It is for a 12 volt system; not a 24.

**Q: Which wire is negative, the ribbed or soft?**
A: On mine the ribbed is negative. It goes to the black battery connector clamp which attaches the the battery
