Then you put these on top of it. If you are just hanging these like wall art like the sellers tell you, that’s a crappy way to ruin your wall and to risk these falling. Also they didn’t include all the hangers and boards were loose, so we had to do a lot of repairs. I can’t believe the YouTube size just tells you to stick these things directly in though. My husband is a contractor and THIS IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS. Go to Home Depot, get a board to anchor these to and then hang. I ordered it in "whitewash" and in the product picture it looks like its stained very white, almost as pale as the wall behind it. As you can see in my picture, what I got is very beigey brown and just looks like plain wood. The wood itself is beautiful but what I received doesnt seem to be stained much at all. I will have to stain it myself.Installation was fairly easy.
