Value for money, fresh. I add liquid to drawers and let it drip down over night, then put on a cleaning wash. Bottle arived, no leaks, good size and works. Helps to clean the seal and filter first. If I want a deep clean, I use the same company's sink and drain cleaner. Also if machine has stale socks smell, I will put on a 90 degree or 75 degree empty 30 minute wash to flush first. Recommend Review: Circulation booster - Very effective, in common with all HG products in my experience. I’d been experiencing a problem with residual water accumulating in the fabric conditioner dispenser of the washing machine. Essentially, what was required was a good brushing out of the area above the drawer, to unblock the little holes which supply water - then a general cleaning of the parts you can’t reach manually, using the HG Washing Machine Cleaner & Odour Freshener. You pour a quantity of the powder from the bottle into the dispenser normally intended for washing powder or liquid. If you’ve become used to using washing tablets dropped straight into the drum, don’t do as I did and forget to adjust the drawer for powder dispensing. If you do, most of the cleaner will become caked and remain in the drawer. Anyway, second time lucky in my case and problem now solved. The machine is visibly cleaner throughout and not harbouring residual water, hence a lot fresher too. ## Features - Causes serious eye damage. - Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. - Harmful if swallowed. - May intensify fire; oxidiser. - HG Washing Machine Cleaner & Odour Freshener 550ml ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07LDCDZWD | | Best Sellers Rank | 6,230 in Grocery ( See Top 100 in Grocery ) 72 in De-Scalers | | Brand | HG | | Brand Name | HG | | Contains Liquid Contents? | Yes | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 708 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08711577258115 | | Included Components | HG SMELLY WASHING MACHINE CLEANER | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Type Name | HG SMELLY WASHING MACHINE CLEANER | | Item Volume | 550 Millilitres | | Item Weight | 435 Milligrams | | Item form | Liquid | | Item volume | 550 Millilitres | | Manufacturer | HG International | | Model Number | 657055106 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 657055106 | | Scent | Lemon | | Size | 550 ml (Pack of 1) | | Special Features | Descaler | | Specific Uses For Product | Washing Machine | | Specific uses for product | Washing Machine | | Surface Recommendation | Washing Machines | | Unit Count | 550.0 millilitre | | Unit count | 550.0 millilitre | ## Product Details - **Brand:** HG - **Item form:** Liquid - **Item volume:** 550 Millilitres - **Item weight:** 435 Milligrams - **Number of items:** 1 - **Scent:** Lemon - **Special feature:** Descaler - **Specific uses for product:** Washing Machine - **Surface recommendation:** Washing Machines - **Unit count:** 550.0 millilitre ## Images ![Washing Machine Cleaner & Odour Freshener, Washer Cleaning Service Liquid Deodouriser & Descaler, Cleans & Removes Unpleasant Smells, Heavy Duty Professional Formula – 550g (657055106) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61xFkdy6evL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this remove mould from the door seal** A: I dont think so. Its more for cleaning sludge from the works. Why not try bathroom mold treatment. **Q: Does this descale as well?** A: Hi. It does to some extent but not fully. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommend as a regular cleaner *by H***K on 23 July 2026* Great, nice to have a larger bottle that saves using boxes. I think this is due to the high temperature boiling the bacteria in the machine. I then used on a quick cycle 30 degree and it now smells really fresh. ## Frequently Bought Together - HG Washing Machine Cleaner & Odour Freshener, Washer Cleaning Service Liquid Deodouriser & Descaler, Cleans & Removes Unpleasant Smells, Heavy Duty Professional Formula – 550g (657055106) - HG Deep Clean & Service Washing Machine Cleaner & Dishwasher Cleaner, Dishwasher & Washing Machine Descaler, Removes Deposits, Kitchen & Laundry Appliance Servicing - 2 x 100g - HG dishwasher cleaner and odour freshener 0.5kg --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/104796014-washing-machine-cleaner-and-odour-freshener-washer-cleaning-service-liquid](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/104796014-washing-machine-cleaner-and-odour-freshener-washer-cleaning-service-liquid) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
