It appears more brown in warm light. You would have to have bright light to see the green. It has a small blue pattern, and also a little honey yellow. Holds up very well. The only reason I had to be a new one is that we cot a new puppy Christmas, and he pee'd on it a few times. I highly recommend this rug.

My second rug like this. It is beautiful. Lays flat, easy to vacuum. Color last. I just can't say enough good about this rug. I would not say this is olive. It appears more brown in warm light.
