My daughter enjoys them and the butterfly toy is one of her faves and stays with us at all times. As she grows, she uses it differently. You can inflate & deflate the ring to make it as high & firm as you like or softer & easier to climb over. Sitting inside the ring my son has his legs slightly curled under him. Sitting in the ring it's not entirely supportive but if they wobble & fall over the sides catch them & it's not a big fall. There's lots to look at, touch & move, and it's easy to assemble. I asked my brother for advice, he had one for his 2 sons & they loved it. It also protects a younger child from a rougher older sibling!
