They are a little big for a child to wear with a helmet. But they are nice for the price. My son loves the lens. However, for my taste they are very narrow top-to-bottom and sat high on my cheek bones below my eyes. The bigger issue was the condensation buildup. I wore them while shoveling snow during a snowstorm and it took less than 5 minutes for a layer on condensation to buildup on the inside of the lens. Yes, inside. After removing and wiping the condensation away 5 separate times, I finally just took them off for good and went without them.
