Only 3 of the 5 blades can be stored in the unit. The other two come in a clear clamshell for storage so at least the blades aren't exposed. But you cannot store all five blades with the unit. 🤔 **Q: does it do angel hair noodles** A: It does thicker noodles and thinner noodles, but not as fine as angel hair pasta. **Q: is this product good for making slices you would use for a food dehydrator?** A: That's what I do **Q: Is it dishwasher safe? The expert design is very apparent. *by on Reviewed in the United States June 26, 2016* This spiralizer is the best tool I have in the kitchen to aid in my low-carb, high fat, moderate protein diet. As you can see in the video I uploaded it is very easy to use and it only takes minutes to process 2 or 3 zucchini for enough noodles for a couple of people to have a healthy "pasta" dish. The different blades are useful. I tend to use the spaghetti noodle blade the most. The simple straight blade can be used to make spiraled wide thin pieces. Broken up a bit, these pieces are great for a lasagna dish.This spiralizer will cut even the most fibrous of roots. I have it cutting ginger and daikon no problem.Despite the complexity of getting one contraption to make these noodles everything is still pretty easy to clean. The machine was well designed with cleaning in mind. It was also developed with sanitation in mind. The lip where the noodles come out is built to overhang a small bowl or a plate/cutting board. The SO just quit smokeing and has put on some weight. He wants to drop the pounds and is finding it hard to cut the carbs. He discovered the spiral veggies in the store but didn't love the price tag. We decided to get a spiralizer of our own. First day it arrived he was enchanted with it. We have used it every night since! This is going to introduce a lot of veggies into our lives. The unit couldn't be easier to use. It does stick well to our counter top. Three of the five blades store right in the unit. The other two we have left in the packaging . Cleaning is super easy. Right after we use it a quick rince and wipe and the unit is clean. I imagine if you were to leave the veggie scraps in the blades it would be a bit tricky to clean but cleaning as we go it is extremely easy! I look forward to using this on lots of veggies. First veggie to go was Zukini. We used the middle size blade and got spirals I would call more like fettachini noodles. Really good, we sautéed them with olive oil and sault and pepper, served them next to a grilled porkchop. Spiralized the broccoli stem last night and the spirals were great in my opinion. I used the small blade that made like angel hair pasta and they turned into little crunchies in the oven! They were really nutty tasteing and I loved them! I think they would be verry good as a Salad topping, but I ate them all! I saw a recipe for chicken zoodle soup. I tried it just like it said. Don't put the zoodles in the soup to cook, just make the soup (less the noodles), and poor the hot soup over the raw zoodles and let the hot soup cook/soften the zoodles. Yummm! I also did the same with the cold soup and tossed the zoodles in and microwaved it . The zoodles were perfect when the soup was hot. I love chicken noodle soup and this is going to be a staple at home.Can't wait to see the next veggie up for dinner! I even love the "off fall" that little core that is a result of spiralizing. That little jem is just as tasty as the veggie it came from! No reason to toss it IMO. Just eat it!Pretty cool kitchen gadget and glad I have one! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes food prep fun and tasty veggie dishes to boot! *by on Reviewed in the United States November 11, 2016* This product works pretty well! I can see places where I would prefer it to be more heavy duty, but overall a solid thumbs up.The four 'corners' of the spiralizer attach easily to a smooth Formica countertop by just pushing down - they have suction cups on the bottom.To release, you just lightly tug the little tag that is at the base of each foot.The blades are all sharp and work well. The machine is easy to clean, you can pretty much handle any of it with a quick rinse under the faucet. If you have beets or carrots or something that may stain, I would use a small amount of soap and a bristle brush.The only thing about this spiralizer I don't love, is that when you get to the end of the vegetable, the white plastic spikes that hold the veggie in place (next to the rotating handle) can be nicked or thrashed if you don't watch what you're doing - as the end of the veggie gets closer and closer to the blade, so too, do the spikes. You end up losing about a half inch each time of whatever veggie you're spiralizing. However, that said, I just pop it off the spikes, break off the core and then do a quick chop of the end piece, so as to not waste it.As an added bonus, having nothing to do with the performance of this machine, I have been amazingly surprised by how gosh dang good veggie noodles are - I've eaten more broccoli, zucchini and carrots in the past couple of months than I have most of the year!
