How much weight can this hold?** A: They fit a 10" wide plank which is really 9.5 " wide when bought at a lumber place. 9.5" is perfect. I can't say how much weight they will hold, but mine are screwed in studs so I think the weight is almost limitless. The one issue is that shelf stabilizers are not provided. The shelves can slide from side to side. To solve that problem I got electrical clamps and spray painted them black. The clamp goes around the bottom of a shelf pipe bracket and is screwed in the shelves on both sides of the bracket. The clamps stabilized my shelves perfectly. I just love the end result. **Q: Is there a screw hole under the pipes to attach to wooden boards? Or are the boards just resting on the pipe?** A: No, you will have to purchase bracket and find the best place for your hole.
