I infuse it and also ingest it. It is safe and has no chemical taste or smell.It is very strong and potent.when i took a spoonful i thought my throat was burning out. I had to take warm tumeric and honey water to calm my throat.Next time i was to take it i just swallowed it i did not waste time on my tonsils.I was having some discomfort in my throat and ear so i let oil stay a few seconds at throat b4 swallowing. Wow! It was hot.It cleared the discomfort but the fire was too much. My ear feels clean too.And this is medium strength. I did not see a high strength when i bought medium strength but am glad.
