SPX1500unkit.** A: Yes it will, if you are using 1 1/2 in. PVC. **Q: Can it be used with sump pump discharge such-40 pipe?** A: yes I would think that would be fine. i used them on my pool pump lines and i think that would have more pressure than your sump pump lines.. **Q: can uion be installed under ground ?** A: I don"t recommend using this union fitting.
