Feel the fun with Kinetic Sand for kids. Review: Kids will love this! - This sand has a bright color. It is plenty of sand for several kids to play. It stays soft and if you leave it out it stays good so you can use it later. It’s easy to vacuum up if needed. It is very fun for kids, my two small children play with this for hours! Value for the money is definitely there. Size is big enough to for several kids to play. Design is neat. It is nice to be able to let the kids play with it at a table inside instead of regular sand that gets everywhere bc regular sand you have to be outside but this is good for indoors too because it stays together. What would recommend to remove it/clean the floors?** A: We always put wax paper down to play on. **Q: I'm not familiar with kinetic sand, but feeling through the package, it feels very hard. Is this the normal consistency?** A: Once out of the package, it’s very soft!! It’s so much fun to play with. My grandkids love it and there Dad even couldn’t stop playing with it. It’s an awesome product. I have bought 4 large bags. **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: From what I could find out, the ingredients are 98% regular sand and 2% polydimethylsiloxane. This second material, a type of silicone, makes the regular sand squeezable and moldable for extra fun and creates the humidity and texture necessary to never dry out and keep playing with a clean surface. **Q: can it dry out if I leave it in a sand box?** A: Kinetic Sand doesn't dry out. If it is affected by humidity, simply add a few drops of water and Kinetic Sand will return to its original state! We hope this helps! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kids will love this! *by J***L on February 12, 2026* This sand has a bright color. It is plenty of sand for several kids to play. The amount of sand included is good for the price we paid, providing plenty for creative play. My kids absolutely love it, and it was a big hit during a playdate with my nephew. Highly recommended! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have for sensory bins *by R***S on March 12, 2025* I use the sand in sensory bins, that I make. They love it, the texture it sticks together but not sticky, it molds together well, and there isn’t a smell or residue. It also comes out of carpet easily with a vacuum cleaner (it happens). It advertises that it won’t dry out, and I’ve had mine for over a year and it still feels the same as it did when I first opened it. It also doesn’t stick to things like playdoh, if it gets stuck in a toy it’s very easy to get off, as well as if toys get buried in it you can easily wipe the sand off. Also, the pink does have a hint of shimmer to it, which my girls love! I have many colors for all the sensory bins and it keeps my kids entertained. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kinetic Sand, 2lbs Pink Play Sand, Moldable Sensory Toys for Kids, Resealable Bag (Packaging May Vary), for Ages 3 and up - Kinetic Sand, Ultimate Sandisfying Set with 2lbs Play Sand (Pink, Yellow & Teal), 10 Tools & Molds, Sensory Toys for Kids Ages 7 and up - Kinetic Sand, 2.5lbs Blue Play Sand, Moldable Sensory Toys for Kids, Resealable Bag (Packaging May Vary), for Ages 3 and up --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/105202910-2lb-pink-moldable-play-sand-sensory-toys-ages-3](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/105202910-2lb-pink-moldable-play-sand-sensory-toys-ages-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
