This half mitten is a total joke. lol! The very first day my daughter pulled it off and I made sure to secure it properly. Ok, I said lets give it another try. I used safety pins to keep it fastened since the crappy fastener it came with is also a joke. It managed to remain secured with the help of the pins. I guess my child is a determined one because she managed to remove her thump from its section pull up the opening and got the finger. Ok, I took it off and replace her fingers properly. The material is so thin that she is now sucking the thumb with the merchandise on. I'm frustrated, but I'm going to have to try something else. PS, this item is not durable, it has a small rip in the side after only 2 days.
