I also own an XLR->1/4" Furui cable, which is fully functional as well. That makes it 2/3 success rate, which isn't catastrophic. Of course, that's out of only 3 purchases so don't take that as any type of relevant metric - Furui's actual success rate is likely much higher based on the reviews alone. I'm revising my rating from 1 to 4 stars to reflect this.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I too purchased these cables to power my ribbon mic via Cloudlifter CL-1, which uses phantom power to get the juice out of the mic. Sadly, neither of the two Furui cables pass the phantom power to the mic activator.Unless you're using the cables to tie a present or to hang a heavy painting, I caution you to stay away from this particular brand. If you need the cables for actual music production or performance, you will be sorely disappointed when you find out Furui cables aren't what they promise to be (i.e.: fully functioning mic cables).
