I bought it for our new kitten and she seemed very comfortable in it. I really like the small zipper access so I can stickmy hand in there to pet her or give a treat. The handles are adjustable and can easily carry on shoulder. I left it on the floor for a couple weeks before our first vet visit and she would just walk right in and sometimes sleep in it. I would have like it to be slightly larger but I think it should work for my pet. I loved the style of the bag, and the pockets were very convenient for storage, as far as size, I felt there really wasn't much excess room - he definitely could not sit up straight, but he could lay down - it's soft enough for it to give that he managed to turn around....but unfortunately, it only made it for one flight....sometime during the 2nd flight- the zipper broke & I could not keep the puppy contained. Thankfully, I had a very nice & understanding crew on my flight, as I could not get him zipped up & had to hold him in the bag. People do not like loose animals on planes!! It was bad.
