It costs a bit more but your dash is exposed to a lot of sunlight and heat. With a 1lb bag I was able to flock an entire F350 dash. You can spread a drop cloth underneath and reuse the leftovers IF you can keep other dust from getting mixed in. Be VERY liberal with the glue/adhesive you are using--if it's too thin or not wet enough, not enough fibers will stick. Degrease the dash first, then scuff with some 80 grit, and for best results spray some flat black primer on the dash first. If you have a glossy surface, any areas of poor coverage will shine through the flock in those areas. Good luck, it looks great. Do a trial run on an unimportant part first, or the back side of a panel. **Q: Could i use this to get the inside of my silverware drawers in my buffet looking beautiful and velvety** A: Yes, definitely! This stuff works great for inside boxes.
