I wanted to try out wearing a kilt for a while, and felt motivated to have a go after my son's wedding last weekend.I'm really pleased with my kilt. I'd previously bought & returned an acrylic wool kilt from another seller that came up far too large, but this one fits. I followed the fitting instructions - I'm a 36" waist and 38" at the belly button. It could go down by an inch and/or up by a couple.The material is poly-cotton twill, similar to medium weight jeans, the stitching is excellent, and the colour is jet black - I'm hoping it will soften and fade a bit after washing as I don't like looking too smart.I usually wear cut-off cargo pants instead of jeans because I like the lighter fabric and big side pockets - this kilt has both, plus some extra ventilation, which my girlfriend seems to like...quite a lot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant *by A***R on 3 May 2019* For the low price I was not expecting much but I was wrong the material is a good weight and sits exactly as a kilt should when wearing it. I bought one for around the same price from a different seller a few years ago and it was absolute garbage in fact I ended up just throwing it out and so I was wary about buying this but I had a wedding coming up and there is no way I could afford to go and buy a traditional kilt and even renting one was really expensive so I decided to risk this and I could not be happier I got so many positive comments about it and people asking where I got it. I cannot say enough good things about this.
