Review: They seem good, comfortable and fit me perfectly (without socks, and 1 size bigger) - I was quite worried after reading all the reviews here, about the sizing being completely wrong and possibly even being fake etc (although there are even some similar reviews about the sizing etc on the Adidas site about ones purchased directly from there). So I'm going to try to write quite an in-depth review of what I received. I ordered both the Aqua version in size 9 and the Comfort version in size 8 (as even the Adidas site says to go a size bigger for the Aqua one but not the Comfort), from desertcart as the seller. So this review covers both (but I'll include only the relevant photos). I'm pretty sure mine are genuine anyway. They both came in a plastic bag rather than a box, but with an Adidas "shelf hanger" thing in the bag too, so I think they're just packaged for hanging up on a rail in a shop. The labels on the bag, on the tags attached to the shoes and on the shoes themselves do all say the same size number for US and UK, but I have a feeling that's Adidas themselves getting that wrong, and that might also explain some of the sizing issues (i.e. if these are actually US sizes, the shoes would be one size smaller than they should be here). I can't see any serial numbers on the shoes themselves (which apparently Adidas print on all their shoes, but I think that might only be for their proper shoes/trainers rather than these). But the Aqua version does have a little QR code label on the sole of each shoe, with some sort of serial number which is different between the two sides (a good sign apparently). The Comfort version didn't have these stickers, but that's the only difference, all the other packaging and printing of labels etc is exactly the same style. Well, except that the Comfort version also has an extra little disclaimer tag saying "Not for shower use" (I guess due to the spongy footbed which would absorb water). On to the actual shoes themselves, they do seem to be about the same size as eachother (so one size bigger for the Aqua one was correct), and also seem a little bit smaller (in length) compared to my usual size 8 Clarks shoes. But, to my surprise, both pairs actually seem to fit my feet perfectly (without socks)! I was particularly worried as I have wide feet (so my usual shoes are size 8 H - extra wide - and in the past I've had to wear size 9 or 10 trainers when they were standard width), but somehow it's not an issue with these. I'm not actually sure yet which version I prefer (and I don't have any prior experience with this style of shoes to compare with) - the Comfort version is of course softer underfoot, but the Aqua version is actually softer than it looks like it would be, so I feel like there's not actually that much difference once wearing them. I also see why people have complained about the edges of the strap being sharp on the Comfort version (the padding ends shortly before the edge, which isn't ideal), but it doesn't seem to be an issue for me personally. My feet don't really seem to press into the upper edge enough to feel it at all (even while walking), and I can only feel the lower edge if I lift my toes into it on purpose. The footbed of both is sort of contoured around the toe area, and I feel like my feet/toes possibly fit the Aqua version better around there. The sole of the Comfort version is more flexible though, which means it stays close to my heel when bending at the toes while walking, whereas the Aqua ones don't bend as much so they pull away from the heel more - but I don't think enough for it to be an issue really.
Review: Small sizing - I'm between a 4 and1/2 and the 5 only just fits :) sizing is a little small as most Adidas is. Great sliders I love them :)

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do adidas Adilette slides run true to size?**
A: Adidas Adilette slides often run slightly small. It's generally recommended to size up, especially if you're between sizes or prefer an optimal fit.

**Q: I have narrow feet. Should I still consider sizing up?**
A: Even with narrow feet, many users find that sizing up provides a more comfortable fit, as the slides can be snug. However, if you prefer a tighter fit, you might opt for your true size.

**Q: What if I'm typically a half size?**
A: Adidas Adilette slides often come in whole sizes only. If you're typically a half size, it's advisable to size up to the next whole size to ensure a comfortable fit. For instance, if you wear a 9.5, opting for a size 10 is recommended.

**Q: How can I ensure the best fit when purchasing online?**
A: Refer to the specific size chart provided on the product page and consider customer reviews for insights on sizing and fit. Utilizing size recommendation and how to measure guide can provide personalized suggestions based on your measurements.

**Q: Is there anything else to consider?**
A: Personal comfort preferences play a significant role, so consider how you intend to use the slides and whether you'll wear them with socks when selecting your size.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ adidas Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal
*by E***1 on 4 December 2024*

Comfort and Style: adidas Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal I recently purchased the adidas Unisex's Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal, and overall, I am quite pleased with the product. Here’s a detailed review of my experience: Design and Aesthetics The design of the adidas Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal is simple yet stylish. The classic three-stripe design is iconic and instantly recognizable, adding a touch of sporty elegance to any casual outfit. The sandals are available in various colors, allowing for personal preference and style. The overall look is sleek and modern, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Comfort and Fit Comfort is one of the standout features of these sandals. The footbed is cushioned and provides excellent support, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods. The slides are lightweight, which adds to the overall comfort. The fit is true to size, and the sandals hug the feet nicely without feeling too tight or too loose. The soft material used for the upper part of the sandal ensures that there are no uncomfortable pressure points or chafing. Durability and Quality The quality of the adidas Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal is impressive. The materials used are durable and designed to withstand regular use. The sandals are made from a single piece of EVA material, which is both lightweight and sturdy. This construction method ensures that the sandals are long-lasting and can handle daily wear and tear. The sole provides good traction, making them suitable for various surfaces, including wet areas like pools and showers. Water Resistance One of the key features of these sandals is their water resistance. The EVA material is waterproof, making the sandals ideal for use in wet environments. Whether you’re at the pool, beach, or simply using them as shower shoes, the adidas Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal performs exceptionally well. They dry quickly and do not retain water, which helps prevent any unpleasant odors. Versatility These sandals are incredibly versatile. They can be used as casual footwear for lounging around the house, as well as for outdoor activities like going to the beach or pool. The simple design makes them easy to pair with various outfits, from swimwear to casual shorts and t-shirts. Their versatility makes them a great addition to any wardrobe. Value for Money Considering the comfort, quality, and versatility of the adidas Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal, they offer excellent value for money. The price is reasonable, especially given the durability and performance of the sandals. They are a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish pair of slides. Minor Drawbacks While I am generally satisfied with these sandals, there are a couple of minor drawbacks worth mentioning. Firstly, the sandals can feel a bit slippery when wet, especially on smooth surfaces. This is not a major issue but something to be aware of when using them in wet environments. Secondly, the lack of adjustable straps means that the fit might not be perfect for everyone, particularly those with wider or narrower feet. Conclusion In conclusion, the adidas Unisex's Adilette Aqua Slide Sandal is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and versatile pair of slides. The design, comfort, and durability make them a standout product. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, the overall performance and value for money make these sandals a solid choice. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and fashionable pair of slides for both indoor and outdoor use.
