Protects excellently! The rubber corners protect very well when you drop your phone. It is difficult to switch the mute button but if you use your fingernail it's okay. Some initial pros and cons:Pros:-Phone fits securely in the case.-Looks good. (this is subjective, of course)-Good protection, especially for side and back impact. Front seems to have enough of a lip to protect the screen as well.-Seems like a very sturdy case. I have no real concerns about it failing prematurely.Cons:-The hard plastic casing is a bit slick. I think you can get used to it, but it feels slippery at first.-The volume and wake buttons requires more force to push than some other cases.-Silent switch cutout is too small. I can use my pinky to access the switch, but for people with larger hands, this will be a problem as the cutout is very deep yet small.Overall, I think this is a very good case for the money.
