It bends the tip of the receiver, allowing the ball to be pushed out. With refurbishment and knowledge of metals I have made it work, but if it were reinforced or just plain high quality steel materials, this thing would be a work of art.Another poor design or poor QC is the T handle bolt. It is reverse threaded and if it is slightly over tightened it will start to untreated even though it appears to have a "light thead lock paste" from the manufacturer (white threadlock). I applied blue threadlock and allowed it to cure over 2hrs before use. Seems to be holding, but without drilling a hole through the bolt and handle and driving a roll pin (tension pin) I fear it will give me the same problem in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Meh... *by T***V on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on October 31, 2015* My arm showed up used and/or banged up. Bunch of scratches all over it. One ball joint gets stuck even after I ease the tension. The other ball joint works fine. The arm is usable so I'll keep it, just the quality of the product is below average. My buddy bought similar arm on ebay for a lot less and it is flawless.Also even with Amazon Prime it took like 4 business days to deliver. I had another brand previously, and it had a hollow plastic knob that was dropped onto carpet at knee height. Needless to say because of the hollowness, the knob shattered. I bought this one to prevent that from happening again. Unfortunately what I received is not what is displayed. The knob is in fact hollow. Buyers, if you find one with a solid knob, buy it, and let me know.To add, this brand is kind of shotty. Sure it works, but it feels very cheap.
