Review: My Regular AA DSLR Camera Battery. Durable and consistent under any condition. - Panasonic, Eneloop... same brand items. I discovered these a while ago as an alternative to the Energizer rechargeable batteries and they are on par with or slightly exceed the Energizers. I have about 30 or so AA and AAA Eneloop rechargeable batteries that I use and swap out as needed. They have been my staple rechargeable battery for all my DSLR camera battery packs and other accessories for about 5 years now. Most of them last at least 3-4 years with moderate use on them. A heavy user should be able to still get 2-3 years out of them I would assume. Hot, cold.... lots of use or short bursts of use... they seem to perform just fine in any condition. I don't buy any other brand anymore for rechargeable AA and AAA batteries. Good investment. Only note I will say is that they do tend to not last as long as say an Energizer Lithium non-rechargeable battery in a television remote, cordless mouse or similar low-usage device. Not sure why that is but I have noticed it!
Review: Good batteries, hold a charge a long time. - Great batteries, they hold a charge a lot longer than the Duracell re-chargeable batteries I had been using. The charger has an led at each battery position and while I've not tried, those lights give the impression that one is able to charge a single battery although everything I use takes two so I guess that's a moot point. We were going away for the Thanksgiving weekend and the four (Duracell) batteries in my 35mm camera were dead and since we were due to leave for our trip in a few minutes I tossed the charger into my suitcase. Anyway, long story short the hotel was horrible and we ended up throwing everything back into our bags going down the front desk to cancel the rest of our stay and made the long ride back home in the middle in the night. A few days later when I finally got around to unpacking my bags I could not find the recharger. I must have left it plugged in the wall at the hotel. I just ordered a new one (with 4 more batteries) and it's almost Christmas but all of these batteries are still going strong (Xbox controller gets a pretty good workout). That's the only problem I've had and that's only because I lost the charger while on a trip.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where are they made Japan?**
A: The 4th generation sourced from Japan are made in Takasai City, China is reportedly making Eneloops now, which are inferior.

**Q: I have rechargable outdoor lights which require 1.2v aaa 700 mah battries will the extra 100 mah burn out the bulb or will thes be ok**
A: The extra battery capacity (100 mah) will just let the lights work for a slightly longer period of time. I have used these Eneloop batteries in a number of flashlights with no problems.

**Q: How long does it take to fully charge these aaa batteries with my eastshine s2 charger?**
A: I have been using slow chargers (1 to 2 hours) for 2 years now and they hold charge very well. If your device needs 4 batteries then you need to buy 8 batteries. When battery charge finishes you swap the batteries and charge the 4 drained ones. After charge store them in a cool place until they are needed again.

**Q: are these 1.5v?**
A: Generally no rechargeable battery will show up as 1.5 volts when measured. But if they are charged up they will work just fine. Almost no consumer application actually requires the full 1.5 volts. If it did, even a set of new regular batteries would "fail" after being used for a short time -- because their voltage drops during use, too. Just think of these as 1.5 volts because your devices won't know the difference.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made in Japan
*by S***N on July 6, 2020*

Made in Japan, storage case for 4, energy potency lasts as long as a throw away battery per charge, I’ve not had to throw any of these away yet 4 years on though I have not counted the number of times I have charged each battery but I will with these 8 new ones, this is the 4th generation. I bought these because I just purchased additional new fireflies from Spartus Tech to add to my collection though they use AA I’ve been using AAA and it works fine, it may void the warranty. I needed a lighter weight battery pack than the AA. There are only positive reasons to buy this battery. I truly recommend these batteries and not any other brand. And I look specifically for made in Japan and I know they are quality made and not cheap waste your money throw away next week brands.
