**Q: will they keep out sand in in a dust storm?  I want to use them for shooting in the desert.**
A: I don't have any problems with them, but then the wind isn't coming at me from all directions with sand either.  I think the vents on hte side may allow some sand to get in, they are not made for use as a sand blocker, just wind. I use these goggles for my cosplay of Quicksilver from Days of Future Past, and they're great! They're comfortable, protect against the sun if that's what you need, and they're pretty accurate to the movie if you're buying them for the cosplay. Even if you're not, they're great goggles-comfortable and pretty cool-looking.

Very comfortable and keeps wind out of eyes while I ride motorcycle. I ride almost every day and got 2 years out of 1 pair, and there still good shape. Would highly reccomend.
