It dates back to 1926! I've been eating this cereal since I was a kid, when I could find it that is. It's different from any Raisin Bran most people have ever eat. Now, I don't go back that far, I mean 1926. I really like the fact that these are real whole wheat kernels and not the flattened flour stuff the other brands are made of. And they give you a lot of plump tender raisins too. It stays crunchy in your milk, as long as you don't fall asleep at the table, LOL. Go ahead try some! Amazon is the only place I can find this great cereal, and their price is very reasonable. ### ⭐ Tastes like dirt *by T***E on March 28, 2018* Holy Cow!, is this stuff terrible!.. Tastes like dirt. Or maybe cardboard. I bought the 4-pak, had one bowl out of the first box, threw that one and the other three in the garbage. Any granola-style cereal, or Raisan Bran, or Wheat Chex, or anything is better, and doesn't contain many more calories, fat, or carbs. Wouldn't buy it again, wouldn't buy anything of this brand. I know, I know, my South Beach Diet book recommended it. Can't imagine why.
