This charges well and the auto opening/closing mechanism is great.Pros:1. Battery allows for opening and closing after the vehicle is turned off. One of my biggest complaints for other auto closing mounts is that I cannot open it after turning the car off. This usually means I have to yank my phone out.2. The motor is very quiet. I have an IR activated one that is 3x louder.3. Auto closes when charging phone. No more random opening and closing of the arms when no phone is on the charger due to turning the wheel or other motions that are too close to the dock.4. Easy to activate the arms. The bottom part that holds the phone is touch sensitive. This means you can just tap it to open it. No need to grip the entire dock just to push a button.5. Secure mounting options. This comes with vent and also a suction cup mount. The suction cup works great on either the dash or windshield. The air vent locks so it doesn't fall out.6. Price is pretty good in my opinion.7. Good LED indicators. It is red when not charging and blue when charging. It is at the bottom where it is easy to see and it isn't extremely bright and distracting, even at night.8. Clean and brand free. The docking surface is black and without any labels. This results in a much cleaner look.Cons.1. The USB-C cable that comes with it sticks out quite a bit. I ended up getting a "U" shaped cable that makes the dock much more visually pleasing.2.
