### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than expected

*by J***G on April 29, 2014*

There are a lot of wireless mics on the market and many of them are very expensive. I decided to take a chance with this unit and was pleasantly surprised. The construction and design is very nice. Having 48 channels is fantastic. This was purchased for our church and we noticed one issue; If the mics are off then the receiver will sometimes pick up stray signals that could get into the mixer if the mixer channel is turned up. As long as the mics were on then there was not a problem. There is a mute option on the mic and that works well. As long as the mic is on (muted or note) then the receiver was quiet. The manual is not clear with all the options but I found that double-clicking the button on the mic provides different options. The little receiver has a connection bar that allows you to connect 2 receivers together which then will let you mount the unit into a rack mount for a total of 4 mics. Also each mic can be controlled by a separate mixer channel if using the XLR connection but you can use the line-out connection and get a mix of both channels which can feed into one mixer channel.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent sound!

I'm not an audiofile but these sounded as good as my wired Shure SM-58.If you can figure it out from the shotty instruction manual, the system will find the best channel to use, in which it has very many to choose from. For the price, you would expect only one microphone but you get two amazing ones. Comes with a nice case for traveling, batteries, and also mic clips for mic stands. Uses AA batteries instead of 9-volt like I've had in the past. Great mute function and battery level indicator on the mic too.You can connect from the receiver to your audio mixer with either 'one' adjustable 1/4" mono mixed connection. Or 'two' separate XLR connections.I don't use them professionally myself, but I would expect you can use these for touring the road.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ so far so good

*by R***H on January 1, 2011*

It appears the wireless microphones have high quality. Sound is very clear and range is good. The only complaint I have is that some batteries might not work well with the microphones. For instance, if I use any duracell alkaline, the microphone can not even be turned them on. However, I was able to use rechargeables. Originally I thought it's because the voltage of the new duracell is 1.6V instead of 1.5V. After carefully check the difference the battery box, it seems that the positive cap of duracell is not long enough to make contact with the metal plate at the end of the microphones. This appears to be a design issue: the plastic "+" shape separator between two batteries prevent the positive cap from proper contact with the metal plate. Suggestion: use different brands of batteries with longer cap or if you use duracell, try to move the battery (whose positive cap in contact with the metal plate at the end of microphone) around so that it is in a slightly angled position rather than perfectly within the battery housing.
