Was excited at first but...  after getting it was disappointed.  I wanted it for connecting jump drives and passports to my iMac and pc laptop.  It will work on the little jump/thumb drives, but won't even show it connects to my 2 passports - either on iMac or PC.  Very disappointing. I read where other people got it to work for all kinds of things, but I sure can't get it to work.  Guess I'll have to pay more for a decent one.  ={

To be honest I expected this hub to 'crap out' like all the rest, but so far it was one of the best purchases I have ever made when it comes to electronics. I have used from 2 to 11 port, name brand to generic hubs and this one is by far the best one ever!!!  With other hubs I would fill all ports and computer performance, software usb product would run slow or nothing would work at all.  I have used all 7 ports on this hub and each item runs just as fast as the next.  I have had a tablet, 2 smart phones, external terabyte drive,  cooling fan, printer and thumbdrive attached all at once and everything worked great, computer performance did not slow down, and the software for everything worked as fast as it normally would.  I have an HP G62 laptop attached to an HP HD 23 inch monitor, 2 speaker systems (each with subwoofers) and still everything is working even with all ports on this hub filled.  I can't say it will do the same for all PC's but I know it is the best hub I have ever used.
