**Q: Hi.is it just a standard/normal size Stanley knife blade to replace when blunt? Thanks.**
A: No a standard Stanley blade will not fit, there are blades available that just fit this knife but you’ll probably only find them in stores that normally supply other businesses like Screwfix and not general stores like B&Q. They are really good knives but only if you can get replacement blades and hooks.

**Q: Does it have a hole to put it on a keyring?**
A: There is (if you look photo too) a hole situated below the hook end the knife which I suppose could be used for that; probably is but neither myself nor and work colleagues do this to the best of my knowledge

Also both for your question and something to know, when the blade gets dull aka needs replacing; there’s a 2nd blade for both knives in the safety knife itself
To change, all you need is 2 flathead screwdrivers or 2 other safety knives as the hook blade fits
Insert into the screws either side
Then once both screws are removed, simply change the blades around

Also and this is a personal thing, I’d suggest getting rid of the hook blades “cover”/cap thing as not needed, you’ll never cut yourself if you have to use the hook end (unless purposely pressing your finger inside it)
Plus having to pop this cap open and shut is annoying
So yeah remove it I would (cap simply comes out no problem)

Sorry to ramble on but that’s all my info on the knife, in addition to answering your question

These knives are great especially in a job where you’re be required to use one regularly as they have a reasonably comfortable grip

**Q: Does this come with a cover ?**
A: No this knife only has a small plastic flip cover that protects the hook end which will break off after a while. The knife blade itself is protected by the casing, you have to remove 2 screws to open up and swap over or store new blades.

**Q: I have just purchased this item, is the blade stored within or is my blade missing. ???**
A: So there’s two blade one inside the plastic and the over is covered, the one that’s covered has small clip and it would stay on there as long and you don’t fiddle with the cover it should cover the blade
