There are no holes on the underside of the top piece to attach the frame, but they are easily made with just a screwdriver since it is particle board. The only issue with that is lining the frame up properly so the overhang of the top piece is even on all sides (mine ended up being a big off). The metal grate on the bottom is slightly warped and isn't completely flat. However, it is large and has ample storage underneath.
