I received this toaster several months ago. It's taken me this long to find the time to log on and get this rated. Right out of the box the right side of the toaster did NOT work. I was very disappointed. I wanted to be able to toast 4 pieces of toast at a time not just two. But, I can only toast two...in the left hand side. The right hand side will NOT stay down. I am super busy and just couldn't seem to find the time to send this back...not to mention I didn't want to spend more money getting it back to the owner and didn't feel I had the time to contact them to find out if they would pay for shipping it back to them. I wish it had been what it was advertised to be. It should NOT have been allowed out of the "shop" not working appropriately. Their quality control is obviously NOT what it should be. Also the levers and buttons are made out of cheap plastic - which surprised me. I would think they would have made a toaster, that was as expensive as it was, better than that. Other than those issues, for the most part (for the part that does work) does work good. That leaves out most bagels and english muffins. I use this toaster for toast. It makes the best toast. Evenly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. It is fast too. Cool to the touch.
