I knew I would have to cut it, and just kinda hoped it would fit. The keys sort of light up now, which I was hoping for better, but it is what it is. I just applied it yesterday, so I don't have any idea of the long-term use of this. The edges of the stickers kinda snag my fingers as a type, but it's not too obnoxious, and I will probably just get used to it. I should have used as exact-o-knife, rather than scissors to cut the edges, but I was too lazy to go to the basement in search of one. It took me about 30 minutes to apply, but I was able to peel the whole sticker off, with leaving just a few key stickers on the sheet and applied it all at one. It's not a perfect fit for my macbook air, but it will do. In addition to cutting along the top edges, I also had to cut the track pad, as it was ever so slightly larger than the trackpad of my laptop. I have attached a few pictures that will hopefully help in your decision-making. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic sticker, but not for all 13" MB Pros. *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2017* This decal is specific for MacBook Pros made before 2014 with the built-in disk drive. My 2015 13" MBP Retina display has a smaller body so when I first applied the decal, it hung over on all sides. Luckily the Keyboard is spaced the same, but I had to use an x-acto knife to cut out a section to move the trackpad into the correct place. I then used the x-acto knife to trim the entire outside rim of my laptop. It also took forever to put on! I was being a perfectionist and was trying to place every key perfectly, but it took me nearly 2 hours to finish. Every key has a specific sticker on it, and sometimes the lettering on the sticker did not line up with the translucent lettering on the keyboard, so the sticker is not exactly centered on the key, but it is hard to tell on most of them. On the other hand, after all that work, it looks fantastic and after less than 24 hours on my laptop I have had almost two dozen compliments on how cool it looks. And a bonus is that if you eventually want to take it off, it does not leave any residue. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would have to cut the rest of the decal and it still wouldn't look like the photo advertised *by E***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2015* I purchased this along with the decal to cover the Mac itself. I was only able to use the decals on keys themselves as opposed to the picture of the product which lead me to believe I could get the look that's advertised. I couldn't. The keys were the only part of this that actually fit my Mac. I would have to cut the rest of the decal and it still wouldn't look like the photo advertised.
