Followed the process of baking them twice and then the pans started to shine. I’ve used the tiny one to fry some sausages and they came out very well. Better than I expected really. But you have to give them time. If you are one of those who rely on the dishwasher to clean all your cooking pots then these are not for you. They can’t go in a dishwasher and only after thorough usage will they act like non-stick. So be vary of the limitations before you buy them.I will not however the taste of the food if properly cooked in a cast iron skillet. I purchased this set to use daily on an induction stove but it's been a hassle because they are so hard to clean, get rusty with the tiniest drop and just in a couple of days it started smelling rusty and unfortunately I think it affects the taste of the food.
