Pair this trim with a Rite-Temp pressure-balancing valve, which maintains your desired water temperature during pressure fluctuations.

Review: Not plastic. - It's well made and was easy to install and the extender piece, however, is not removable. Once in place over your valve, it's there to stay! Make sure all pieces are installed appropriately before fitting on the extender! Otherwise, youll have to purchase another rite temp valve. Thankfully, this was not the case with mine! I am very happy with this purchase and it looks great in my shower.

It's well made and was easy to install and the extender piece, however, is not removable. Once in place over your valve, it's there to stay! Make sure all pieces are installed appropriately before fitting on the extender! Otherwise, youll have to purchase another rite temp valve. Thankfully, this was not the case with mine! I am very happy with this purchase and it looks great in my shower.

A little tricky to install to make sure it lines up with the valve without accidentally breaking something but went carefully and had no issues. Works great.
