To me, it looks like a dark navy color and it's disappointing. The case is also pretty thick, which is good for protection, but in particular the material on the back is so thick that it impedes my ability to use the fingerprint reader. It also feels awkward because there is quite a bit of distance from your finger to the reader because the fabric is really thick. The screen protector was a nice bonus, but there isn't a tool included to get the air bubbles out and when I tried using a folded up paper to get them out, the film was left with a lot of surface scratches which wasn't what I was going for. It does seem sturdy, but it's just not ideal for me.
