I'm pleased to say it's durable and is holding up well. This is a very simple case, but that's what I was looking for. I wanted something to protect it in my pocket, then could slip it out and use it caseless.The material is a nice leather on the outside. One of my concerns when I was looking for a pouch was the screen getting scratched going in and out. This pouch has a nice, soft felt material and it leaves no marks on the screen. The best feature, which I was unaware of when I bought it, is a little flap at the opening of the case. When your phone is inside the pouch, you pull this little flap and it slides your phone out so you can grab it and remove it. I was expecting to just try to pull the phone out from inside the case, but this is a nice addition that works very well. So, I would definitely recommend this pouch.
