Around January of 2019, I decided to purchase a mechanical keyboard. I had never purchased a mac specific keyboard before and I decided to try one and see how it felt compared to using the one the iMac comes with. After searching for at least a week, I finally came across this one (M87 Mac Layout Mechanical Keyboard). Even though it was meant for more typing related activities, I still decided to give it a try for gaming as well. So, here I am, 9 months later giving a review of the best keyboard I have ever typed on. I am going to start with the cons because there aren't many of them :) Cons: - Only has the color white - No number pad - Caps lock light is on the other side of the keyboard - Fingerprints Pros: - Ergonomic, sloping key style - Customizations for the backlighting which makes up for the one color option - Extendable feet for extra typing comfort - VERY durable - Easy to clean - Long, braided USB cable - Metal design Conclusion: Since I have been using this keyboard vigorously for the past 9 months, I am happy to say that it is very durable and useful. I haven't had any major problems and I have gotten away with cleaning all the keys once. Even though the keyboard only has the color white, I think white was a nice, sleek option and the ability to change the patterns of the lights really makes up for it. Gaming on it has been quite nice since it has brown switches which are my favorite by far. They have a nice clicky feel while still being quieter than blue switches. I will definitely be using this mechanical keyboard in the future. Thanks!
