She said the baby's startle reflex is still pretty strong at three months and this woombie keeps her from startling which would likely wake her up. With her arms wrapped in the woombie, she feels secure and is able to fall asleep easier and stay asleep longer. I thought it was exactly what I needed for my baby, who loves to thrash her arms around in her sleep and managed to escape her Velcro bag swaddle every time. I thought the Woombie would be better because she would still be able to move her arms, but wouldn't be able to hit herself in the face. Unfortunately, it just didn't work for us. There was too much give in the material ..she could still throw her arms around way too much and wake herself up. For the good points, the size seemed accurate, and I loved the convenience of the bottom zipper. I wish it had worked out, but it didn't.
