For a male dog you cannot place the Loobani all the way back as it covers the dogs PP and either cannot go or will pee on the loobani. I place it right in front of my dogs private parts and it is able to give him some support if needed but it is not true rear end support. This unlike rear harness does not dig into your dog. my male is so sensitive that a rear harness drives his nerve endings crazy and he will not walk with it, this makes it possible to help him, at least for the moment to some extent. **Q: What size for a 15 lb. dachshund that cannot use any of his limbs? Looking for full support so he can use restroom.** A: We got the xlg for a 100 lb. Lab and it's the best money we've ever spent. So my guess would be, small for a 15 lb dog. It is adjustable too.
