Everything I wrote below still stands. I have touched up the edge here and there. It's real easy to bring this thing back to wicked sharp status.I'm a student/healthcare worker and I've carried this knife every day for 3 months. It arrived sharp enough to shave my leg hair, and I've only twice felt even the slightest need to touch up the edge. The blade arrived a little off center but I just used a torx driver to adjust it, it took literally 15 seconds. It has started to wiggle from side to side a bit but I use this a lot and I just have to tighten one screw just a tiny bit. That seems acceptable to me.I've used this lil' friend to cut paracord when camping, slice up pieces of paper because someone at d&d forgot to bring their miniatures for the battle grid, and cut the tomatos and avocados I pack in my sack lunch so they stay nice and fresh and don't soggy up my sandwiches. I've used it to split donuts because my female classmates "shouldn't eat a whole one", stirred my coffee, cut up a steak when the restaurant forgot to give me a steak knife, liberated various things from their packages, cut off my girlfriend's underwear during kinky times, all the basic stuff. This knife has dutifully performed everything I've expected it to. It is extremely lightweight, disappearing into jeans, slacks, and scrubs so well you forget you're even carrying it. The pocket clip is very secure, though only for right handed people. I have large, slender hands - while it is a little on the small side it still fits comfortably in my hand. I feel very confident in the liner lock, it has never malfunctioned.Some people don't realize this is a manual knife. However, it can easily be opened with one hand and without flicking your wrist. Just push the flipper knob in, perpendicular to the handle - the blade with snap open with a satisfying click. I open/close this knife multiple times a day, it is great fun. I love the look of this blade, but now I live in a large city where people aren't used to seeing people regularly carrying knives. Some people have found it a little scary. The girlfriend thinks it is scary and sexy. No one cares or notices if it stays clipped to my pocket.Would I take this camping? Sure, but I wouldn't expect to do anything crazy, I have other fixed blades for that. For basic overnight excursions with my hammock this would be just fine. Honestly this is a great romping around town knife. It's great quality for the price, and if I lose it or break it or something I won't be too bummed out about it. I'd probably just buy another. I've been using a Leatherman Wave as my EDC (Every Day Carry for those new to knife acronyms) and it's no longer what I need on a regular basis. I still carry it in my bag so I have the tools when I need them - but typically I just need a good blade several times a week. This fits the bill for a knife that doesn't attract attention to itself, practically disappearing into my pocket, while still large enough to be useful around the office and inside the house.Pros:* Right out of the box this shows a well made knife that is properly and tightly assembled (blade lined up dead on center (see pics), yet opens smoothly.* Typical of Kershaw, this apears well manufactured - no visible errors or parts that don't line up.Everything is exactly lined up (pics show this - there is a shadow from my bad lighting that makes the blade look slightly more to one side, but it's right where it should be)* The liner lock's right side falls dead center on the blade,left side of liner lock is just right of the left side of the blade. Perfect placement with plenty of room for the wear and tear to come (see pics where I show this)* Blade was shaving sharp right out of the box (see pics for some shredded post it notes next to the images)* Scales have a better grip than I expected (not a bad thing on a knife this small - especially with my large hands)* Due to it's slim profile - easily slides into a pocket.(clip can be situated so it's tip down or tip up - see pic for tip up mount - and feels secure in either position)* Clip is better located and stiffer than clips on some other knife brands I have - no fear of this knife falling out of my pocketCons:* Why didn't I buy two?* Not a knife for everything, but so far doing everything well that it should[EDIT] - I like this knife so much that when I misplaced it - I didn't even need to think about what knife to purchase to replace it with - I bought another Chill. [/EDIT] ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un excellent couteau de poche, léger, discret, et facile à ouvrir. *by V***O on Reviewed in France on June 17, 2016* J'ai souvent besoin d'un couteau dans le cadre de ma profession (véto de campagne), et j'ai donc acheté trois de ces couteaux pour en avoir dans toutes mes vestes. Le prix modique pour la qualité du couteau (made in China bien sûr, mais il semble que ce soit la seule façon d'avoir des articles de cette qualité à ce prix) permet de ne pas avoir trop peur de le perdre, même si j'y fais attention...Contrairement à ce qui est dit dans certains commentaires, le couteau est très facile à ouvrir en donnant un léger coup de poignet en même temps qu'on déclenche le petit levier avec l'index.
