I've forgotten the titles of books I've read that aren't so good - and there were at least a handful of those too. Not all dating books stand out to me. Only the best are the books I remember.This is one that I'll remember for eternity. Deeper Dating made a huge, positive impact on my world. I bought extra copies to give to friends. Even my brother who is not the type to read a relationship book enjoyed it.I was feeling lonely and perhaps not loving or appreciating myself all that much. Then I red this book and it made me realize I'm more wonderful than I was giving myself credit for. I fell more deeply in love with myself. And that immediately took the sting of being single away in a way that is lasting and will endure over time.Before reading this book I was maybe too eager to date again, but now I am finding myself realizing I should not rush into dating. I should savor this newfound ability to love myself more and allow that self-love to guide me to the right person in the right time. This book teaches a smarter way to date and I am eager to try the new principals it taught, but I have a feeling that when I date again I'll have success. And if I'm successful, I won't be as single. I've read quite a few dating books that were authored by men, but for some reason I read a chapter or so of this book before realizing it was not a woman author.
