That's very clearly not true. They're a similar cream to ordinary manila folders), and I really like them. The paper/cardboard out of which they are constructed is thick enough that they seem quite sturdy, but as I haven't had them very long I haven't tested that yet. They aren't so thick that it would be a pain to use them, but they are thicker than ordinary manila folders.They are only a little bit taller than an A4 sheet of paper. I tend to jam a lot of paper into folders, and with 19 sheets (of the colored A4 paper sold by Empire Imports) in one pocket, the tops of the pages stick out the top of the folder. I would have preferred that the folders be bigger than this, but not everyone wants to stick 40 or more pieces of paper into a folder like this one, and for people who want to use this to carry around just papers that they will read that day or hand them out at a meeting with a fairly small number of sheets inside, they may be ideal.Even though I wish they were larger than they are (which is why I didn't give them 5 stars), I will probably purchase more of these folders, possibly in different colors, in the future.
