I put it in my living room and the pattern compliments the room so well! I have wood floors so playing and sitting on the floor can be harsh but most play mats are a very bright design that doesn't fit most living room sets. These mats are a perfect fix for that. My 7 month old and 3 year old both comfortably play and I can kneel down with them for MUCH LONGER than I could on my wood floor. The only down side is the peeling. After a few months the edges of the mat started to peel but after communicating with the company they're sending me a new one! So even if you have any issues the company is exceptional to work with.
