That being said some of the pieces had to be installed in a certain way. This was dicovered upon completion upon.I had to take the bench apart and adjust for the problem. I then cheked to see where my error occured, only to find that the picture omitted the correct way to install the piece. This was a minor problem to say the least. I put three coates of spar varnish on the complete structure.($135.00 per gallon)I did not have enough to do the inside of the drawers. I placed it outside four days after the final coat of spar varnish. It rained the next day, what a disaster this piece turned out to be. The drawers sucked up the water like a giant sponge. None of the drawers could be opened. the water poured thru the interior. I had to break the drawers in order to open them.I purchased an arbor prior to this debacle it is made of cedar. Not a problem. The potting bench had many defects and they were repaired with wood filler. The drawers actually had water oozing out of the wood. The only way you schould sell this items is to advertise that it can not be used outdoors. I am a very crafty project person, but his potting table was a complete joke. You schould be ashamed to sell this product for $100. much less the $404.00 you charged me. I can assure you that you have taught me a great lesson about your products. The wood is rough and isn't even CLOSE to the color in the picture. The actual color is yellow. The directions are lousy. We spent the last 4 hours messing with it and still can't figure out how the top pieces go. If I could get this packaged up again and send it back I would but we had to tear apart the box to get it out. If I'm going to use this darn thing I will have to sand it and clear coat it so I don't get splinters every time I touch it.
