It is absolutely waterproof and more spaceous than many other packs. It is also quite light, given the amount it can carry. On the downside, getting access to the content involves buckling and unbuckling the clips. Closing the pack involves folding and clipping; so it is much more cumbersome than the zippered products that are also waterproof. Also, if you are carrying just a few things, the pack will feel too light and hard to fold.Overall, I would say if waterproofing is essential to you, and you tend to carry quite a bit of things each time, this pack is a good choice.
