Portable oxygen concentrator with 8 hours battery. Inogen one g3 HF is silent and can deliver exactly the required l / m even at pulsed flow. A portable oxygen concentrator captures the surrounding air and, after passing it through an anti particulate filter, it channels it towards a pump in order to increase its pressure. After passing through the electric pump, the air is directed through zeolite filters, which separate the oxygen molecules from the other gases in the air. The oxygen that comes out of the filter, with a very high purity, is conveyed to the patient: after passing through a filter for the dispensing nozzle, it passes through the nasal cannula. The remaining gases naturally present in the air are expelled from the back of the device and returned to the surrounding environment. Oxygen delivery occurs with pulsed flow technology. The traditional systems (liquid oxygen, old-generation concentrators, etc.) deliver oxygen with a continuous flow, making the patient totally passive: in fact, the oxygen is delivered both in the inhalation phase and in the expiration phase. On the contrary, the pulsed flow technology of Inogen One allows to supply oxygen only when the patient requests it, thus allowing it to oxygenate the pulmonary alveoli at its best and to practice effective rehabilitative gymnastics.
