The first batch was a little thicker but aluminum, so they would bend slightly under heavy use. A few years ago I added another brands stainless steal hanger. But it was on the thin side and had sharper hook ends. These are good middle ground.Better strength than either of my other two hangers. No sharp edges. The two stainless hanger types have the same shoulder slope. The 10 year old aluminum version hangs lower, like a standard wire or plastic hanger would. I don't see any problem with less shoulder slope, it's just visible when next to other hangers.I like these hangers better than the other two I've purchased. This set is very likely to have also cost more.
