This was it. The round shape and round downward pointing venting was perfect. it has a bug screen too. The standard exterior vents all have a nearly 90 degree vent angle pointing down. I didn't want hot greasy air blowing on my brickwork. This vents out a nearly a 45 degree angle, keeping my brick clean. The round dome keeps the rain and snow out, and the the tube is all stainless steel! Install tips: get a strong bonding liquid sealant, I used PowerGrab loctite crystal clear to bond the unit to the wall. I sealed the 2 mounting holes as I did not want to use them. The vent unit has 3 spring clips that help hold it in place in a sort of 1 way install that allows the PowerGrab to set and hold. My range hood can reach 1000CFM and I believe this vent allows such a large volumn of air to move freely. Tweak: I bent the vent fins 45 degrees, They seems too closed for my likely and helped even out the airflow away from the brickwork and allow more air to flow. Very happy with my purchase, I returned a square 90 degree vent with built in damper and purchased this unit and installed an inline damper as this unit does not have one. Review: Amazing - Looks unique, and is very functional with the bug screen and shutters. I bent them open just a little, to better exhaust cooking smoke and steam, and added some adhesive weather stripping (not included with this product) on the bottom half-moon so it would fit my siding. ## Features - FEATURES The bull nose wall vent is ideal for application in outdoor areas. The shape of the hood as well as the fixed downwards protruding slats prevent rainwater and too much wind from entering the ventilation system. - INSTALLATION Step 1. Install the rubber seal on the outer edge of the hood and sometimes patience is required to insert the lip. - INSTALLATION Step 2. Insert the weather protection grille with the nozzle into the ventilation pipe and fasten it to the wall with the enclosed screws. For better attachment in the ventilation tube, hooks are located on the nozzle of the ball bonnet. - USES Ideal for all tumble dryer vent pipes/hoses, bathroom vents & extractors, air conditioning units, kitchen fans & vents, all home wall vents, heat transfer and ventilation systems, gas & electric dryers, cooker hood extractors, as well as wide variety of industrial uses. - NOTE Before buying, please note that this is to be installed in metal ducts, not in pvc or other plastic pipes. Please measure the diameter of your duct before purchasing. The insect screen protects the ventilation system from insects crawling through the slats into the HVAC system. The metal lip prevents water marks on the wall caused by dripping rainwater. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07LCR45WB | | Additional Features | Easy to install | | Air Flow Capacity | 125 cubic meter per hour | | Best Sellers Rank | #262,185 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #1,431 in Registers, Grilles & Vents | | Brand | calimaero | | Brand Name | calimaero | | Color | Steel | | Control Method | Touch | | Controls Type | Touch | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,505 Reviews | | Filter Type | Mesh | | Finish Type | Brushed | | Finish Types | Brushed | | Included Components | cord | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 5.91"D x 8.27"W x 8.27"H | | Item Form | Wall Mount | | Item Highlight | Dryer Vent Covers Ventilation Grill Hood with Rubber Seal Fits only with Metal Ducts | | Item Weight | 345 g | | Light Source | LED | | Manufacturer | calimaero | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4054503006096_SML | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 150mm | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 5.91"D x 8.27"W x 8.27"H | | Special Feature | Easy to install | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Vent Hood Design | Wall Mounted Canopy Hood | | Ventilation Type | Ducted/Vented | | Voltage | 220 volts_of_alternating_current | | Wattage | 150 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** calimaero - **Color:** Steel - **Finish Type:** Brushed - **Product Dimensions:** 5.91"D x 8.27"W x 8.27"H - **Special Feature:** Easy to install ## Images ![KWG 6 inch Round Stainless Steel Outdoor Dryer Vent Covers - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61OSQvYd7wL.jpg) ![KWG 6 inch Round Stainless Steel Outdoor Dryer Vent Covers - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81RYwTfmw1L.jpg) ![KWG 6 inch Round Stainless Steel Outdoor Dryer Vent Covers - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81OLntIIJgL.jpg) ![KWG 6 inch Round Stainless Steel Outdoor Dryer Vent Covers - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81E7gc6lTNL.jpg) ![KWG 6 inch Round Stainless Steel Outdoor Dryer Vent Covers - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81bAzkgOn+L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect look with actual weather protection *by B***N on February 6, 2023* I wanted a vent what woud flow a lot of air, looked good, and was very functional and weather resistant.
