I go this book to prepare for my ACE certification exam. But it really does contain a bunch of useful information for anyone seeking to grow in their knowledge of fitness and exercise. I wish I'd read this when I started training over 10 years ago. It would have been far more beneficial than all of the goofy fad books I ended up reading. This book is well written, organized in a logical manner, full of clear illustrations and a pleasure to work your way through. I can't recommend the ACE resources enough. From this older manual to their online tutorials, they are really showing that they care about getting people healthier and happier.
