Founded in 1974 in Taiwan, the company has around 1,500 employees and operates its own factory in China, in which in addition to SANGEAN radio devices are also manufactured for other premium brands. Sangean Genuine Mini DAB The Sangean DDR-7 "Genuine Mini DAB" can be analogue and digital The small DDR-7 should not be underestimated, because modern radio technology slumbers under the classic real wood housing. DAB + radio with Bluetooth The radio has a receiver for DAB+ and FM. MP3 collection and streaming service can be easily played via Bluetooth via the DDR-7 "Genuine Mini DAB". Its compact size is in no proportion to the sound, because speakers and housing are matched and are controlled with sufficient reserve via the Class-D amplifier. Little Music Wonder The built-in lithium battery not only ensures sufficient power, but also ensures mobile listening comfort for up to 36 hours at a time, without intermediate charging This makes the handy radio the ideal companion for home, office or travelling. The clear operating concept is underlined by the tidy look with well-positioned dial and input buttons (power, input, +/-). Review: Sound quality defies its size! Brilliant little radio. - This is my first Sangean and I am totally converted now. I'm astounded by the sound quality of this little radio. Open, warm, and great clarity, which makes it perfect for classical, acoustic or jazz. It's a very good quality portable dab/fm radio with the bonus of a Bluetooth speaker. The finish is very classy - a satin dark wood veneer and satin black metal face. The radio contains an integrated rechargeable battery which lasts for ages (apparently 36 hours - i have yet to test this but have used it for 16 hours unplugged and the display said the battery was at half). This is really useful as it means i can keep it a bit higher up where the reception is better without the power cable draping down from it. It comes with a usb cable with a ferrite core to prevent interference. A wire antenna is supplied, i bought an external solid aerial to replace this. Only minor complaint is that you would expect the wheel/knob to control the volume but it changes station instead. A little annoying but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Worth shopping around as desertcart werent the cheapest.

This is my first Sangean and I am totally converted now. I'm astounded by the sound quality of this little radio. Optics: This is an absolute gem. A collector's item. FM reception is among the best. Outstanding audio. Could not test DAB yet
