A: I don't know what you feel high temperature means. I have used it in an engine that ran as high as 100C without loss of performance.

A: I use Castrol in all my engines-the viscosity stability can't be beat and it doesn't sludge up like most other brands...I use the 20/50 in both my motorcycles because the crankcase and transmission share the same oil sump and just won't breakdown due to shear and in my high mileage truck (over 300k miles in a Ford Ranger!). Unless you have a high mileage vehicle or a performance bike, I would use the viscosity recommended, but in the Castrol GT line-it can't be beat!
